Nansha to further promote reform of government service

The conference explained the highlights, major reform measures and specific effects of the reform and innovation of government service in the past four years since the establishment of Nansha Area of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

Pan Yuzhang, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of Nansha Development Zone, outlined the achievements made by the district in recent years in his speech. 

By 2018, Nansha has accumulated 415 reform and innovation achievements. Nansha's business environment convenience score was 77.88, ranking 29th in the world.

Its good investment environment has attracted many domestic and foreign companies. In 2018, there were 38,000 new enterprises in the zone, bringing newly added registered capital of 832.38 billion yuan ($124.1 billion).

Nansha draws on Hong Kong and Macao's advanced regulatory concepts to launch more targeted and pioneering reforms. It has taken a series of reform measures, including a commercial registration confirmation system, international business communication, and a foreign-related comprehensive service platform to optimize its business environment and has improved its work efficiency.

Nansha will also adjust foreign-related affairs, service window settings and other departments, and establishes a comprehensive foreign service platform. At the same time, it will take the lead in piloting the industrial park to ensure land holdings. 

Nansha will benchmark the Hong Kong company registration system and carry out the appropriate reform to expand its market access.

It will change the nature of enterprise establishment registration from administrative licensing to administrative confirmation.

At the corporate forum, staff members of the local administration service data management bureau explained the innovation achievements of Nansha governmental service, examination and approval reform and commercial registration to the participating enterprises.

In addition, Nansha plans to create a world-class business environment and becomea national benchmark. With institutional innovation as a breakthrough, it will further strengthen reform of the business environment by inviting enterprises and people to come to Nansha.
