Huaxia Insurance Co Ltd was established in December 2006 as a national, joint-stock life insurance company approved by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.

The company is headquartered in Beijing, with 673 branches across the country and staff of more than 240,000. At present, the company has a registered capital of 15.3 billion yuan ($2.28 billion) and total assets of 451 billion yuan. In April 2017, the total premium reached 89.1 billion yuan.

Huaxia Insurance has established 24 branches in various provinces and cities including Beijing, Jiangsu and Shandong, with 152 central branches, 497 branches and marketing service departments.

Huaxia Life Insurance Co Ltd Zhoushan Central Branch was registered at Zhoushan Industrial and Commercial Bureau on November 25, 2015.
