Shenzhen Fujing Foreign Language School

Founded in April 1999, Shenzhen Fujing Foreign Language School (FFLS) was the first State-owned private foreign language school in Futian District to be run independently with State owned assets. It has 47 classrooms and more than 2,000 students. Since 1999, FFLS has developed into a splendid combined middle and high school with international programs. FFLS is the hard core of the education group. It has its own teaching characteristics due to a special ESL course – the “2+1” (two years studying in China, one overseas). Its Sino-Canada curriculum is a suitable educational program for students wishing to go abroad for further study.

FFLS is located in Futian District, at the center of Shenzhen. Futian District is home to the Shenzhen Book store, claimed by many to be the largest in southern China. The Shenzhen Music Hall, Shenzhen Museum, and Coco Park, which are popular with the foreign crowd, are all located in Futian District. Shenzhen, being a coastal and economic city with the fourth-largest GDP in China, is a multi-cultural city featuring beaches for summer recreation and mountains for hiking. All types of international restaurants and shopping centers, and other necessities like hospitals, supermarkets, post offices, and banks, are always nearby. The southern climate makes winter enjoyable.

The International Programs of Shenzhen Cambridge International Institute

The Shenzhen Cambridge International Institute (CIIS) was approved by the Shenzhen Education Bureau to conduct High School international programs, including:

(1) Sino-US Dual High School Diploma Program

Students upon the completion of the required high school credits will receive high school diplomas both from CIIS as well as Chapel Field Christian High School, New York, U.S.A. Chapel Field is an incorporated school under a New York university and accredited by the National Association of Private Schools.

(2) The American Advance Transfer Program

CIIS collaborates with the John F. Kennedy University of the United States to allow students upon the completion of 10 courses (30 credits) to receive credit recognition from numerous universities overseas.

Gateway to Foreign Universities

CIIS students have boundless opportunities to further their education abroad, spending less money and time. CIIS's partner university, JFKU, is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). This accreditation allows students of the program to transfer their credits to further their studies not only in JFKU but also in numerous reputable universities in the United States, Canada, and other western countries. It also entitles the students to participate in federal student financial aid programs in the United States. Thus, it is an express gateway to foreign universities.

For the past five years, more than one hundred CIIS graduates have successfully transferred to overseas universities, such as Australia National University, the University of Utah, and the University of Oregon.

Hongling Senior High School

Hongling Senior High School International cooperates with Shenzhen Hongling High School and Sundelta Education Center in the United States, in two programs, the "Ivy class" and "International class". The main purpose of the international program is to get students into the best universities in the United States through scientific and rational learning with the help of counseling from high-level teachers. The goal of the "Ivy class" is to reach the top 50 American universities. The goal of the "International class" is to enable students to enter the top 120 US universities.

The American first-class education system and teaching philosophy are introduced to the International classes, as is a wide scope of content as well as domestic U.S. high school high school required courses. The school’s U.S. News Education Center was founded so that Chinese students could enter the American education system and  develop comprehensive ability and personal expertise, enabling them to successfully join the U.S. elite.
