Rural tourism, apricot blossom festival kicks off in Juungar

The opening ceremony for the 5th Rural Tourism and Apricot Blossom Festival was held in Juungar Banner, Ordos, a city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on April 13.

During the three-day festival, 17 activities will be held, including cultural performances, photography exhibitions, poetry competitions, and agricultural fairs.

In recent years, Juungar Banner has turned to the cultural tourism industry to promote the transformation and development of its economy. It is taking full advantage of its abundant cultural and tourist attractions, vigorously developing rural, integrated, and all-season tourism, working to build a distinct cultural tourism brand, and promoting the high-quality development of its cultural tourism industry and the sustainable and healthy development of its economy and society.
