Quzhou Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), also known as Yang Jizhou Hospital, was founded in 1992. It is also a tertiary hospital in Quzhou and is famous for “Yang Jizhou Acupuncture”.

Yang Jizhou, born in Quzhou, was an acupuncturist during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). His acupuncture techniques are still used and have been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.

The hospital covers 50 mu and has 450 inpatient beds divided across 12 wards. There are 693 employees working at the hospital and 13 of them are senior municipal doctors.

With a focus on developing TCM and keeping pace with the development of modern medicine, the hospital is dedicated to providing quality medical services to patients. Key specialties in the hospital include acupuncture and tuina (massage), nephrology, anorectal, neurology, hepatobiliary surgery, urology, oncology, and pediatric services.
