Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport is located in the east of Hangzhou city, Zhejiang province, 27 kilometers from the downtown area. Since its completion in 2000, transport infrastructure has grown rapidly and the network of routes has become increasingly comprehensive.
In 2016, the airport's annual passenger throughput exceeded 30 million. By the end of 2017, Hangzhou Airport offered 62 airlines, including six regional, 31 domestic and 25 international ones. It can reach 162 airports around the world.
With an area of 370,000 square meters, the airport consists of three terminal buildings. Terminal buildings one and two are for the arrival and departure of domestic airlines, while Terminal Building Three is for international airlines.
