Located in northeast Beijing, Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) is 25 kilometers from the downtown area.

BCIA has carried out large-scale expansion and reconstruction projects seven times since 1965. On Jan 1, 1980, Terminal 1 was officially put into operation and Terminal 2 was put into use on Nov 1, 1999.

The construction of Terminal 3 started on March 28, 2004. After three years and nine months' hard work, the construction of the world's largest integrated terminal, Terminal 3, was completed.

Currently BCIA is the only airport in the Asian-Pacific Region that has three terminals, three runways, and two towers operating simultaneously.

BCIA runs 1,700 flights from 94 airline companies every day, linking Beijing with 244 cities in 54 countries around the world.

The annual passenger throughput of BCIA in 2018 was over 100 million, ranking second among all airports in the world and first in Asia.

All three terminals handle inbound and outbound flights, while terminals 2 and 3 are mainly for international flights.

Please refer to the official website of the airport for more detailed service information.
