Cherry Blossom Festival to kick off in Lushunkou

A press conference for the 11th Dalian International Cherry Blossom Festival was held at Lushun Station on subway line 12 in Lushunkou, Dalian, North China's Liaoning province, on April 1.

The festival will be held from April 3 to May 20 at the cherry blossom garden in 203 Scenic Area in Lushunkou.

The festival will consist of a number of events, including opening celebrations, short videos competition, cultural performances, photo contests, and nighttime cherry blossom tours.

Also, in a bid to improve the festival and accommodate tourists, a number of services will be introduced, including a cherry blossom-themed subway line and cherry blossom-themed market.
