First phase of Jinan supercomputer center finished in 108 days

The first stage of construction on Jinan Super Computing Center Science and Technology Park wrapped up on March 31. The main building of the center was completed in just 108 days, including its main structure and external decorations.

The park is expected to be completed this year and will serve as a state-of-the-art E-class supercomputer with a speed of up to 10 quadrillion calculations per second.

Jinan will boasts super computing application service industry and high-tech industry both with an annual output value of 10 billion yuan ($1.49 billion).

Jinan Super Computing Center Science and Technology Park, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, is one of the few national quadrillion supercomputing centers in China.
