Hangzhou to host intl transportation and logistics expo

The 19th China International Transportation and Logistics Expo will be held in the Hangzhou International Expo Center, Zhejiang province, from July 3 to 5, it was announced at a news conference on March 28.

Themed on "Technology transforming logistics", the 50,000-square-meter expo will bring together the latest logistics technology and solutions of cargo transportation from 30 countries and regions around the world, with cutting-edge logistics facilities, products, and technologies on display.

Seven major sectors including transportation services, logistics services, logistics equipment, intelligent logistics, logistics vehicles, logistics real estate, and logistics support will be featured during the three-day expo, which is expected to see the attendance of over 800 logistics and transportation companies.

Meanwhile, the parallel event Transport logistic China 2019 will also be held on the sideline, along with an array of forums on different topics.

Intelligent and advanced technologies will be introduced to this year's expo to provide better services for exhibitors and visitors.

As the host of the 19th China International Transportation and Logistics Expo, Hangzhou's Xiaoshan district has witnessed rapid development in this field by improving logistic chains, with a group of Chinese pillar logistics companies all located here.

The expo is expected to give a boost to the economy of Xiaoshan and make the district a core area in Hangzhou's innovative development of modern logistics, said an official from the district's bureau of transportation.

Initiated in 1997, the China International Transportation and Logistics Expo has been successfully held for 18 years and earned a popular reputation in China.
