To promote the integrative development of education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and accelerate the accumulation of quality education resources in Nansha, the Nansha government and Guangzhou education bureau signed contracts on March 26 to build a bay area experimental school and kindergarten.

The two schools are expected to offer 4,140 educational opportunities throughout the bay area, with the experimental school expected to offer 72 classes capable of accommodating 3,420 students as part of its nine-year compulsory education program and the kindergarten to offer 24 classes for 720 students.

The two schools will be built to meet Guangdong's current standards for compulsory education schools and first-class kindergartens.
