 Hanwha Chemical has always been at the forefront of the global chemical industry. Starting with the production of PVC, the company began producing a full array of basic petrochemical products including LDPE (low-density polyethylene), LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), and CA (chlor-alkali), all of which have since served as base products in a wide range of industries.

 In 2008, Hanwha Chemical established a branch in Daxie Development Zone in Ningbo with total investment of $363 million. It focuses on the production of VCM and PVC with ethylene as the main raw material. As one of Hanwha Group's largest investment projects in China, the project was successfully completed and put into operation in December 2010, with an annual sales income of approximately 2.3 billion yuan ($342.6 million). 

Business Scope: Manufacturing and selling ethylene products including muriatic acid, EDC, VCM, PVC; importing ,exporting and wholesaling related products (except for those subject to State trading. Those involving quota or subject to state trading shall be handled in line with related rules of the State).
