In 2017, three Ningbo enterprises were awarded as Top 100 China’s Best Electronics and IT Enterprises: Joyson Electronics Co Ltd, Sunny Optical Technology Co Ltd and Risen Energy Co Ltd. These three companies generated an output value of 40 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of nearly 70 percent.

In the first eight months of 2018, electronic enterprises above designated size in Ningbo generated a total industrial output value of 109.38 billion yuan and contributed a tax value of 7.19 billion yuan.
