Xiamen Software Park earns top ten ranking

Tech industry research organization Forward recently released its annual ranking of China's industrial parks. The Xiamen Software Park placed ninth on the list, which was topped by the Beijing Zhonguancun Big Data Industrial Park. Rounding out the top three were the Guian Electronic Information Industrial Park in Guizhou's Comprehensive Bonded Area and Shanghai's Shibei High Tech Park.

The 2018 industrial park survey included data from more than 100 parks. The survey assessed parks on their growth rates for the data processing industry as well as each park's overall development strength and the growth of individual enterprises in the parks.

Revenue for the Xiamen Software Park topped 10.1 billion yuan in 2018, up 19.4 percent year-on-year. Revenue hit 9.5 billion yuan for the park's top ten companies, which focused on emerging industries such as mobile internet, cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
