Chun'an county seeks high-quality development

Chun'an county of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province is actively exploring high-quality development, which takes into account ecological environment, green development and people's livelihood, according to a meeting held on Feb 17.
Specifically, the county targets an over 70 percent of major streams in the county and a 12 percent decrease in the use of pesticide and fertilizers.
On the green development front, Chun'an will strive to develop new business models including all-for-one tourism, conference and exhibition industry, as well as sports and leisure industry, while ensuring a green agriculture and promoting the organic product certifications and geographical indication of agriculture products. High-end water projects are also highlighted.
"These indicators mirror that the county has always adhered to the high-quality green development", said a local official.
To meet the target, a service bureau on ecological industry has been established focusing on bio-industry, digital economy and high-tech industries.
