Tongling Shizishan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone

Tongling Shizishan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone originates from Shizishan Economic Development Zone, which was approved to be established in 2006.

The zone has continuously improved its infrastructure over the past decade and focuses on the development of strategic emerging industries, such as copper-based new materials, photoelectric information and advanced equipment manufacturing.

Due to its integrated innovation and entrepreneurship resources, the zone has won many honorary titles, including the Anhui provincial intellectual property rights demonstration zone and the Anhui provincial entrepreneurship base.

In 2017, the zone was approved by the State Council to become a national-level high-tech zone. In the future, it plans to further implement the innovation-driven development strategy and complete its management mechanisms, in a bid to help promote the regional economic structure adjustment and transform the method of economic growth.
