Shenyang spends $2.03b on urban construction

The first batch of urban construction projects in Shenyang for 2019 was announced and it includes 63 projects with a total investment of 13.73 billion yuan ($2.03 billion).

Approved projects were mainly in the fields of transport facilities, waste treatment, greening efforts, renovation of old residential communities, and constructions of public recreational facilities.

This year's key projects include the Hunnan expressway, Qipan Mountain Tunnel along the fourth ring road of Shenyang, sewage treatment plants in the east and the north of the city, and the Daxin kitchen waste disposal project.
