Japanese medical company to further cooperate with Wuxi hi-tech district

Sysmex Corporation, a Japanese medical electronic company, signed to cooperate with the Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) as strategic partners on Jan 30.

Hisashi Letsugu, chairman of Sysmex Corporation, expressed his gratitude to WND for its long-term support. Sysmex has over one-quarter of its business in China and looks to further increase the life-health industry in the country.

Sysmex will take advantages of WND from former cooperation and increase investment in research and development in the city to promote production capacity and enrich the supply of biodiagnostic reagent related products. Wuxi city is positioned to be a core base for the development of Sysmex's R&D and production business in China.

Wang Jinjian, director of WND, congratulated Sysmex Corporation on its 15th anniversary in China. He said that the district will continue to offer quality support and service to Sysmex as it is one of the key enterprises to promote the development of new industries here.

Established in 1968, Sysmex Corporation is a leading medical electronic company worldwide especially in blood cell reagents. In August, 2003, Sysmex Corporation built its Wuxi branch in WND for research and development and production of Type 1,Type 2 and Type 3 IVD reagents.
