Liaoning launches 144-hour visa free policy to attract tourists

Liaoning Exit and Entry Administration Department recently launched a 144-hour visa free policy targeting foreign passengers who would transfer at Shenyang or Dalian airports.

According to the policy, during the Chinese Spring Festival holiday, transit passengers from 53 countries including the US, Canada, and all members of the EU can spend up to 144 hours in Liaoning without a visa. 

Foreign passengers can enter Liaoning through Shenyang Taoxian International Airport or Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport with valid international travel documents and plane tickets to a third country or region within 144 hours.

The policy is expected to bring much convenience for foreign tourists who would like to sample Chinese Spring Festival traditions and admire Liaoning's winter landscapes.
