An American girl walks up to a Confucius statue and bows down to it before starting her new day in Longyou Experimental Primary School.

Danielle, from the United States, who came to the Chinese city in September 2018, is crazy about traditional Chinese culture.

Not long after her teaching in the school, an activity introducing Confucian culture helped Danielle learn more about Confucius and his thoughts.

"I like to show beautiful Quzhou to my international friends in China and invite them to visit the ancient city," said Danielle during an interview with local media.
