Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone

Located on the southern side of Changzhou, Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone was set up in March 1996 as the first provincial-level hi-tech industrial zone in Jiangsu. Covering 100 square kilometers, the zone was upgraded to national level with approval by the State Council in August 2012.

Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone focuses on the development on four leading industries: high-end equipment, electronic and intelligent information, energy conservation and environmental protection, and new-type transport. It is also planning the construction of two industrial bands, robotics and intelligent electric automobiles.

By the end of 2016, more than 7,000 companies from over 30 countries and regions have settled in the area, including 20 investment projects by World's Top 500 enterprises, making the zone one of the most attractive and dynamic development zones in the Yangtze River Delta area.
