China Communication Technology (CCT) Group is a national high-tech enterprise focusing on the R&D and applications of high-frequency spectrum, including Ku, Ka and THz. Through the establishment of several independent research and development platforms such as the terahertz Institute for Science and Technology Innovation and the Institute of Communication Technology, CCT Group has set up a strong R&D innovation team consisting of academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), technology elites from NASA laboratory, and technology elites from globally renowned colleges and universities.

CCT Group focuses on spectrum resource utilization, creating breakthroughs in the new spectrum, new processes, and new materials, carrying out a full range of independent research and development and application of terahertz sources to millimeter wave chips, terahertz chips, satellite loads and other system-wide products.

CCT Group has combined satellite networks with terrestrial networks and built a new three-dimensional information system. It has built an integrated cloud management platform and full-service solutions, deploying ‘satellites+’ application in various industries such as ocean, power, public security, and forest. Through an integrated operation model, CCT Group builds a space-based satellite network for global photoelectric information based on terahertz communication. It also conducts high-quality satellite operation services for a ubiquitous communication experience.
