Brief Introduction
The Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base was inaugurated in November 2006, targeting aviation industry clusters and national strategic emerging industries. It was realized through collective efforts of the provincial and municipal governments and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). In June 26, 2010, it was approved by the State Council as Shaanxi National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base. As of the end of 2014, an industrial cluster supported by the aviation and civil-military integration industry, satellite and application industry, new energy industry and new generation information technology, was formed. There are 114 projects under construction or preparation with total investment of 98.3 billion yuan. Among them, national strategic emerging industries account for more than one third by number and value.
