Zhanjiang officials to review progress, plan for future

The 5th Session of the 14th Zhanjiang Municipal People's Congress will be held from Jan 17 to 19 to lay out the blueprints for the city's development in 2019, according to a press conference on Jan 14.

The three-day congress will examine work reports from the Zhanjiang Municipal People's Government, Standing Committee of the Zhanjiang Municipal People's Congress, Zhanjiang Intermediate People's Court, and Zhanjiang People's Procuratorate.

Implementation of the 2018 plan for national economic and social development and the 2018 budget will be examined, resolutions for the execution of 2019 draft plans will be approved, and the chief procurator of the Zhanjiang People's Procuratorate will be chosen.
