An exhibition of sketching works featuring countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative will open at Yangzhou Art Museum, East China’s Jiangsu province on Jan 18, and run until Feb 22.

The exhibition is being jointly hosted by several institutions, including China National Academy of Painting, Jiangsu Artists Association and the publicity department of Yangzhou municipal Party committee.

The works for exhibition covers various kinds of themes related to the Belt and Road Initiative, ranging from historical relics and the cultural landscapes to the local customs and exotic sceneries of countries involved in the initiative.

In addition, these works have a variety of forms and techniques of expression. The artists not only make good use of their own expertise, but also freely choose the expression and art forms based on their own inspirations and influences.

The exhibition forms a part of the Belt and Road International Fine Arts Project.
