Buses to circle Xiangzhou; route added to Chimelong

Overlength dolphin-shaped electric buses will soon loop through New Xiangzhou and Qianshan (Lines B5 and B6) in the north and lasso the Banzhang Mt Range in central Xiangzhou District (B7 and B8).

Altogether, 50 buses will make 31 stops around the two circles beginning Tuesday, Jan 15. These include the Municipal Government Complex and Education Bureau, 5th Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Renmin Hospital, Bailiandong Park, and Zhuhai 1 and 2 Middle Schools.

Concurrently, Route 826 electric buses will start running back and forth between eastern New Xiangzhou at Haihong Terminal (just south of the 5th Affiliated Hospital) and Jinding in the Zhuhai Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

To the southwest, Route 826 buses will run between Gongbei and Chimelong. The additional expresses will ease traffic on the recently added Line 1 (Qianshan Terminal -- Gaolan Port), Line 2 (Intercity MRT Zhuhai Station -- Ocean Spring Resort), and Line 6 (Baijiao Development Zone -- Jida Terminal).
