Beijing High People's Court and Beijing Bureau of Justice have jointly launched a "micro-lawyer" service platform, which allows online case filing and litigation document receiving, which is expected to further optimize the lawyers' working environment.
According to officials of the Beijing Bureau of Justice, the "micro-lawyer" service platform promotes the new "internet plus e-litigation" model based on the WeChat official account "Beijing Court Litigation Service", which has integrated several litigation services including online case filing, case searching, legal document delivery, legal document submissions and judge contact.
In 2018 Beijing's High People's Court and Beijing Bureau of Justice signed an agreement on information resource sharing. The "micro-lawyer" service platform is the outcome of sharing data, which is expected to provide a "green channel" for lawyers participating in litigation activities, and save time and money for those filing lawsuits.
In the next stage more functions including online payment, evidence exchange and court day reminders will be introduced on the platform, in order to better facilitate lawyers' litigation work.
