Located in Guangming district, Shenzhen, Huaqiang Idea Park covers an area of about 230,000 square meters with a construction area of about 770,000 sq m. It is a cultural and creative complex integrating creative office spaces, youth apartments, cultural businesses, an arts hotel and creative goods operations.

Huaqiang Idea Park is built to be a national level import and export base of cultural products and services. It will provide enterprises with acceleration services, including creativity, financing, research and development, production, sales, and more, to better serve the cultural and creative industries, as well as to help transform and upgrade cultural and creative enterprises.

Huaqiang Idea Park will introduce culture related industries such as industrial design, film and television animation, new media, software development, science and technology, finance, tourism, etc. After completion in 2019, the park will have more than 2,000 enterprises and create more than 40,000 jobs. The annual output value of the park will exceed 30 billion yuan ($4.38 billion) and the tax will be more than 3 billion yuan.

In addition, orchards, parks, reservoirs, and farms will also be set up in Huaqiang Idea Park to provide a green work environment.
