Ningbo's talent work proves effective

In 2018, talent recruitment was placed at the center of the government's work. Led by the city's Party Chief Zheng Shanjie and Mayor Qiu Dongyao, a team of officials was built to have face-to-face talks with professionals, experts and scholars who had the intention of settling in Ningbo.

Ningbo has been striving to create a better working and living environment for people as well.

With the title of the country's first demonstration zone for Made in China 2025 and a prosperous private economy, Ningbo has a solid industrial foundation for people to exercise their talents.

The government's considerate services for talents also contributed to the city's fast growth into a popular talent hub. Talents are able to enjoy more convenience in aspects of daily life such as transportation, accommodation, healthcare and children's education. Meanwhile, increasing efficiency in administrative procedures assures them of a better climate for business development and operations.

An official from Ningbo's talent office said that talent work for 2019 has started. Next, the city will endeavor to build a pool of professionals with a global perspective to serve the province and the nation.
