Accessing the archives:
Foreign organizations or individuals need to submit a Letter of Introduction provided by the Jiangxi provincial government department of foreign affairs or by a Chinese institution with which cultural exchange programs have been established. The Letter is required to provide a clear statement of the applicant's personal identity, purpose, and scope of target archives. The application needs to be made 30 days in advance. Access is only allowable by permission of the Jiangxi Provincial Archive.
