Fenghuang Mt Park

Covering 70 sq km (7,000 hectares) with the highest peak of 437 m, Fenghuang Mt Forest Park overlooks the sea to the east, abuts Zhongshan City in the west, borders Tangjiawan Town in the north, and fronts Zhuhai downtown areas in the south. It is the largest mountain range in Zhuhai. 

The natural landmark encompasses at least 15 hills over 150 m in altitude. It also feeds Zhuhai, Dajing Mt, Meixi, Zhengkeng, and Youth reservoirs with streams and brooks.

Fenghuang Mt Park 

Hiking trails, one to Baisha Hill, another to Dajing Mt Reservoir, and the third to Changnanjing Old Path, wriggle the mountain.

One can take Buses 26, 36, or 70 to Putuo Temple, where there are vegetarian meals, opposite Agricultural Paradise in Qianshan. The 1-km Changnanjing Old Path can be accessed at Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) in Jinding. It is being improved with the addition of a 3.77-km hiking trail to Huitong and Nazhou old villages as eight viewing decks are added. Two rest pavilions will also be built for hikers.

The mountain access is open from 8 am to 6 pm between April and October, and 8:30 am to 5:30 pm between November and March.
