Measures for the settlement of road traffic accidents in China

According to relevant laws and regulations in China, road traffic accidents caused by foreigners shall be handled by public security organs if a crime of causing traffic casualties is not constituted; if a crime of causing traffic casualties is constituted, they shall be subject to criminal liability in accordance with Chinese law.

Road traffic accidents caused by foreigners who enjoy diplomatic privileges and immunities shall be handled through diplomatic channels.
