The predecessor of China Poly Group is Poly Technology Co Ltd, which was established in February 1993. It is a large centrally administered state-owned enterprise under the management of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC).
Poly Group adheres to the tenet of "Providing services for national defense modernization and serving the country's modernization", the operation concept of "integrity and innovation, advancing with the times", and the core values of technological innovation. It has formed a pattern of balanced development in military and civilian trade, real estate development, cultural and artistic management, investment and development in mineral resources, and civil technology.
In August 2016, Poly Group was ranked 96th in the "2016 China Top 500 Enterprises". On July 12, 2017, it was awarded Grade A in the 2016 annual business performance assessment by the SASAC.
On January 2, 2018, Poly Group announced that the group has successfully completed the corporate system reform, and the company name was changed from "China Poly Group Corporation" to "China Poly Group Co Ltd".
