Specialty paper industry

Quzhou has 61 specialty paper enterprises with annual revenue of over 20 million yuan, with 130 production lines and a total of over 100 kinds of products. The industry has realized an output value of 16.9 billion yuan ($2.5 billion). And the output took up about 25 percent of the national market in 2017.

The main products include 16 categories, over 70 products, like decoration body paper, rolling paper, food packaging paper, medical packaging paper, heat transfer paper and so on.

Quzhou has become China’s specialty paper industrial base, China’s high grade specialty paper industrial base, China’s demonstration base of pulping and papermaking research institute’s scientific and technological achievements and Zhejiang specialty paper industrial base.

Relevant industrial platforms like Quzhou branch institute of China’s pulping and papermaking research institute, Zhejiang technology research and development center of specialty paper’s new material.

Quzhou has been cultivating and bringing in enterprises in paper industry, such as Xianhe, Kingdecor, and Vinda. It is also the permanent host city of China’s international specialty paper expo.
