Shenyang opens extra rail services for Singles’ Day shopping

China Railway Group Shenyang Bureau launched extra rail services to handle express logistics during Singles' Day shopping promotion from Nov 11 to 20.

157 high-speed rails opened services to handle an unusually high volume of parcels which are of high value and time-limited, aiming to achieve same-day or overnight delivery. Shenyang Bureau draw lessons from past experience, and launched "quick arriving" services in Shenyang North Railway Station and Shenyang Railway Station to help them save time and improve efficiency. 

It has also set up special security checkpoints and sorting sites, as well as organized young volunteers to participate in the loading and unloading, providing services for e-commerce and its customers. 

All the packages carried by the special services will be delivered directly to customers' homes.
