Shenyang, Beijing further cooperation

An exchange conference for entrepreneurs from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province to invest in Shenyang was held on Oct 30. 

Beijing and Shenyang have signed cooperation agreements for 208 projects, with a total investment of 288.7 billion yuan ($42.38 billion), 43.2 billion yuan of which already completed construction, according to the conference. 

Among the cooperation projects, those in emerging industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing, new-generation information technology, new materials, aviation, big data, and e-commerce account for 40 percent of the total. 

The two cities have also committed to deepening cooperation in tourism, agriculture, and exhibitions.
