Over 10 cultural creative groups from Taiwan have settled down in Beigang in recent years to boost local tourism, opening supporting facilities such as workshops, restaurants and coffee shops to allow people to enjoy their leisure time.

The whole tour around Beigang village only takes about half a day and you don't need to worry about being stuck in a crowd.

You can take Bus No 18 to Liushui Intersection (Liushui Lukou) stop and then you can hail a taxi or walk to Beigang village and the bus fare is two yuan ($0.29) per person. You can also travel by your own, which the whole journey from Pingtan Bus Station to the village is about 20 minutes.
