Tanshui village in north-east of Pingtan covers an area of 380 hectares, with its permanent resident population reaching over 2,400.

Thanks to its unique geographic location of being surrounded by seas and mountains, the village enjoys splendid natural scenery and abundant tourist resources.

In recent years, the village has devoted continuous effort to the construction of supporting facilities such as parking lots, tourist service center and nursing house for the elderly.

The parking lots in Tanshui village are over 10,000 square meters and can accomodate 176 cars and 8 buses, easing parking pressure in the village.
