Ordos sets festival to honor sanitation workers

A ceremony was held to mark the first Sanitation Workers Festival in Kangbashi district, Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Oct 26. 

At the ceremony, awards were handed out to some sanitation workers as a way to pay tribute to them. 

After the ceremony, artistic performances entertained the audience members, with most of whom were sanitation workers. 

Representatives of donors who have financially supported the welfare of sanitation workers were invited to deliver speeches. 

While the sanitation workers were attending the ceremony, workers from Kangbashi’s enterprises and institutions took over their jobs to try their hands at difficult cleaning work.
