Shenyang art festival concludes at the Shengjing Grand Theatre

Opened on Sept 15, the "2018 Shenyang art festival" concluded successfully in Shengjing Grand Theatre on Oct 29, after one and a half months' of performances. 

Jointly organized by the publicity department of Shenyang municipal Party committee and the bureau of culture, radio & film, TV, press and publication in Shenyang, the art festival attracted more than 70 Chinese and foreign performance groups with more than 60 plays, and staged a total of 199 performances, benefiting over 350,000 spectators. 

The festival has introduced more than 20 countries, including the United States, France and Italy, and staged more than 30 performances from around the world, which built a bridge between China and the international art world.

"The festival was full of stories and the historical footprints since the economic reform and opening-up of China, vividly interpreted through plays", said Du Chunhua, director general of the bureau of culture, radio & film, TV, press and publication in Shenyang.
