Xiamen to hold national business festival

The 2018 China (Xiamen) Business Festival will be launched in Xiamen, Fujian province on Nov 1, the Xiamen Federation of Chambers of Commerce (XFCC) announced at a press conference on Oct 23.

Initiated in 2015, the festival has been successfully held three times.

This year's festival carries the theme of “40 years of reform and opening-up, highlighting entrepreneurship”, and consists of a forum, an entertainment evening party and several sub activities including a knowledge contest, table tennis competition and golf tournament.

The festival aims to enhance enterprises' integrity management, social responsibility and the cooperation and joint development of Xiamen private enterprises with enterprises from countries and regions along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.

The festival was first put forward by the XFCC and Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in 2014, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the establishment of the XFCC.
