Guangzhou to build national new energy utilization demonstration zone

The National Energy Administration recently gave the green light to build the Guangzhou Development District New Energy Comprehensive Utilization Demonstration Zone, according to Guangzhou Daily's reports on Oct 22.

The National Energy Administration required Guangzhou Development District to play a leading role in new energy comprehensive utilization and will give support to the district in terms of industrial policies and institutional reforms, further promoting its demonstration effect.

To strengthen the construction of the demonstration zone and gradually build an energy system balanced with the urban construction system, Guangzhou Development District will focus on multi-energy complementary projects, demonstration projects on hydrogen utilization and power pipe network projects in Guangzhou Science City, Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Yonghe Economic Zone, and West Zone Industrial Park.
