Xiamen athlete claims debut win at Youth Olympic Games

Fu Fantao from Xiamen, Fujian province, won a gold medal in trampoline at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games on Oct 14 in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.

There were four competitions for gymnastics on the ninth day of the event and Chinese gymnasts claimed three medals, two of which were gold.

Organized by the International Olympic Committee, the Youth Olympic Games is an international multi-sport event held every four years in staggered summer and winter events for athletes aged 14 to 18.
