Jizhi Collection

The Jizhi Collection is housed in a rebuilt, old South Asia-style building decorated with various flower-shaped tiles and old Xiamen motifs, which satisfy all the nostalgic memories of the city.

The building has five floors.

The first floor houses Xiamen's time-honored Ajizai brand pie store. Its handmade pies taste sweet and waxy. Just one bite and Xiamen residents' childhood memories start to emerge.

The second floor is 100 percent Xiamen. On display are all articles that can reproduce the old Xiamen as well as creative products using flower-shaped tile designs, such as postcards, fridge magnets, and coasters.

The Timeline bookstore is on the third floor. Rare old books about life, art and literature collected by its owners are on display there. It would be a good experience to take your time to read a real book and take time out from your busy life to enjoy leisurely afternoon time at this bookstore.

The fourth floor has the Flower-Shaped Tile Gallery and Jizhi Cafe. One can sip the barista-made coffee while admiring the colorful tiles or watching passersby hurrying to and fro outside the window.

The last floor has the Oolong Tearoom. Xiamen residents' favorite pastime is to sit in a courtyard full of flowers and plants overlooking the city's old town while drinking tea and chatting with old friends.
