Guangzhou ballet troupe brings performance to India

Following an invitation from the Chinese Embassy in India and organized by Guangzhou's foreign affairs office, a team of five members from the Guangzhou Ballet made their way to India for a series of performances and exchanges from Sept 27 to 30.

The dancers staged classical excerpts from the Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Coppelia at the National Day celebration event of the Chinese Embassy in India and took part in a special commemorative activity held by the India China Friendship Association.

The wonderful performances demonstrated the strong cultural soft power of China and enhanced the mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and Indian people. The dancers were highly praised by the leaders of the embassy and its international guests.
