The best places to hike around Dalian

There are plenty of places to hike around Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning province. And with autumn and the seven-day National Holiday approaching, now is probably the best time to go and explore the great outdoors. 

Here are some of the top hiking routes to take around the city: 

1. Paotai Mountain – Linhaiting – Yanlinhai Road – Yingbin Road 

From the top of the mountain, visitors are able to get breathtaking views of the city.

2. Dalian Botanical Garden – Haizhiyun Park

This hiking route is popular among local residents, thanks to its clear walkways and lack of obstructions.
