Located in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Dashu Mountain National Forest Park is 10 kilometers from the downtown Hefei. A state-level forest park, provincial-level geological park and scenic spot in Anhui province, the park covers an area of 1,000 hectares, with a 95 percent forest coverage rate.

Founded in 1954, Dashu Mountain National Forest Park is open to the public. It has seven landscape areas, namely Anhui Celebrity Park, Shufengwan Sports Park, Kaifu Temple cultural scenic spot, a wildlife ornamental zone, a martyrs' prospecting zone, a forest landscape zone and a west expansion zone. The park boasts abundant resources of forest, animals and plants, including 23 species of fish, 16 species of amphibian reptiles, 116 species of birds and 756 species of plants.
