Nanyang holds public job fair in fall

A public job fair was held by multiple departments of the Nanyang government at Xinhua City Square on Sept 14 to benefit both enterprises and individuals.

A total of 130 enterprises attended the fair, providing more than 1,800 positions and attracting more than 2,000 job seekers. All kinds of social organizations, scientific research institutions, universities and colleges, and enterprises offered jobs to college graduates, poor people, rural laborers, laid-off workers, disabled people, ex-servicemen, etc.

The job fair aims to build a platform for mutual choice between outstanding enterprises and job seekers. It also provided service counters for college graduates, and counseling services for poverty alleviation, venture capital, and loan guarantees.

On-site senior counselors from public employment service departments also helped job seekers with career guidance, job-hunting difficulties, and career planning.
