A fisherwoman sits on some fishing nets at Bailanzi fishing port in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning province. The photograph was taken by Gilles Sabrie, a French photographer who now lives in Beijing. His work focuses on recording China’s development over the past 40 years. Many of his photos have been published by National Geographic and New York Times; some have even received coverage on French television. For Dalian, Gilles said that he managed to capture and present the most authentic parts of the city to the world. [Photo/dlxww.com]
