Jiangsu Horticultural Expo tickets go on sale

Tickets for the 10th Jiangsu Horticultural Expo are now available with a five-yuan ($0.73) discount before Sept 28 on its official website and Wechat account (yzybh2018).

Tickets are divided into ordinary-day tickets and special-day tickets, sold at 60 and 80 yuan respectively.

Nine days are listed as special days, namely the opening and closing days, and the seven-day-long National Day holiday.

Special groups including seniors aged from 60 to 70 and students from primary schools to undergraduates can get a discount of 50 percent off with valid identifications.

Admission for seniors above 70 and children less than 1.4 meters in height or no more than six years old is free.

The tickets are only valid for entry, additional fees for electric vehicles and sightseeing boats are not included.

When purchasing tickets online, it is required to give your phone number, so you can receive text messages of redeem codes. Visitors will have to choose an appointed date to use their discounted ticket.

Tickets with a discount will also be able to be purchased on e-commerce platforms such as Meituan.com and Damai.cn.

Ticket windows will be set at all the entrances of the expo park. Visitors who haven't bought tickets online can purchase tickets and pay by Alipay and Wechat Pay.
